Standard schedule is Monday through Friday. Temporary (2-3 month project)
Core Job Responsibilities
  • Plan, coordinate and/or supervise construction activities of job foremen, craft employees, and field engineers on assigned project.
  • Ensure project is constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule.
  • Interface with Project Manager, Project Engineer, client representatives, and subcontractors to ensure all company, client, and project policies and procedures are adhered to.
  • Interface with Project Engineer and Project Manager as necessary to review constructability of design with the goal of meeting quality, cost and schedule commitments.
  • Interface with all project team members as required in the establishment of project schedules and resolving schedule problems.
  • Represent company and project team during bid process, project scope development, client meetings and project management meetings.
  • Assist with the implementation/interpretation of safety programs. Work within precise limits and standards of accuracy.
  • Follow oral and written directions.
  • Work within company policy as outlined in the H+M Employee Handbook as well as the H+M Safety Manual and OSHA Safety rules.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor as needed.

Essential Qualifications

  • Seven (7) years of experience in heavy industrial projects such as refineries, petro-chemical facilities, etc.
  • Familiar with construction methods, techniques, and labor requirements and how they apply to industrial construction projects.
  • Ability to effectively interact with project team members, clients, subcontractors, and craft employees.
  • Possess excellent leadership skills and have the ability to effectively manage craft employees, budgets, and construction schedules.
  • Hands-on mechanical/pipe foreman experience

Physical Requirements

  • Occasionally lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Sitting, standing, reaching, walking, twisting, climbing stairs, climbing ladders, and kneeling to perform the essential functions.
  • Use of typical manufacturing related personal protective equipment as well as advanced protective equipment as needed

Working conditions encountered in this job include those found in a typical office setting as well as an indoor/outdoor manufacturing setting which includes exposure to outside weather conditions, work at elevated heights, climbing of stairs and ladders, and physical manipulation of tools and mechanical equipment. This job demands the use of typical manufacturing personal protective equipment as well as advanced protective equipment as needed.
