Founded by Larry Hogan & Dudley Masterson
In 1988, Larry Hogan and Dudley Masterson founded H&M Design, an industrial engineering and design firm in La Porte, TX.
Added the Construction Service line
In 2001, Larry and Dudley decided to add in construction to the list of H+M service offerings. This decision began the growth of the company, as H+M is now able to provide full service solutions to their clients.
Because of the company's growth, there was a need for more space. As a result, the team moved to its current and larger Pasadena facility in 2009.
H&M Design was re-branded to H+M Industrial EPC in 2013. This was a strategic move to set the organization apart and help communicate its full list of offerings to clients in the region.
Brandon Hogan, P.E. was named President and CEO of H+M Industrial EPC in 2017. This shift in leadership was instrumental to keep the organization innovating, improving, and influencing others. Larry Hogan is still on the team working hard for clients every day.
As a result of continued growth, the H+M's Woodlands, TX office was opened in 2019. This allowed the company to expand its presence and capabilities to the Energy and Chemicals industries across the region.
H+M's EPC fabrication shop expansion in 2020 tripled the previous production capacity used to facilitate project execution for clients. The project was completed in Q1 of 2020.
H+M created H+M's young professionals group, The Foundation, to be an organization to encourage and facilitate cross-discipline communication, professional development, and leaderships skills for employees with under 8 years of industrial experience.
The group meets monthly for events with an emphasis on either learning and development, team building, or networking. Learning and development events are focused, interactive sessions that offer valuable information to the group. Team building events aim to create an environment to collaborate with peers to enhance trust, cooperation, and communication skills. Networking events help attendees learn how to benefit from the real-world expertise of others in their role, industry, and those with similar goals and career paths.
