Core Job Responsibilities
Prepare structural and foundation designs for industrial projects.
Design of heavy equipment foundations for industrial projects.
Design pipe racks, pipe supports, access platforms, pump foundations and vessel foundations.
Manage the cost and time constraints of multiple projects at one time.
Prepare and maintain all safety and environmental aspects of a project.
Work within company policy as outlined in the H+M Employee Handbook as well as the H+M Safety Manual, H+M Work Processes, and OSHA Safety rules.
Ability to execute designs using structural design software (RISA Products, calculation spreadsheets, Hilti Profis, AutoCAD, CADWorx)
Essential Qualifications
Six to twelve years of in-depth experience in Civil / Structural engineering design and construction within the petrochemical industries.
Current Texas Professional Engineer License.
Competent proficiency with current industrial codes (ASCE, AISC, ACI, IBC, PIP).
Familiarity with utilizing laser scans in facility design.
Competent proficiency in AutoCAD
Demonstrated problem solving skills
Strong interpersonal skills and capable of establishing respect and credibility through actions, communications, understanding and personal presence
Ability to work with others to achieve job goals
Competent proficiency with structural engineering analysis and design using structural modeling software (RISA products, Hilti Profis).
Physical Requirements
Occasionally lift objects weighing up to twenty-five pounds
Sit for long periods of time
Occasionally stoop, kneel or crouch
Use hands and arms to reach for, grasp and manipulate objects

Environment
Remote and onsite work. Visits to job sites may be required on occasion as needed.
