This listed EPC project example of a firewater system revamp placed focus around debottlenecking and alleviating hydraulic issues to add flow capacity. This was achieved by providing new tie-ins and pumps. The scope of work included all civil, structural, mechanical, process, piping, electrical, and instrumentation required to complete the project.
Our client required a full upgrade of their existing terminal demand for the firewater system to correct deficiencies.
In addition to ensuring the new system was up to code, the H+M team also needed to collaborate with the Houston Pilots and the Port of Houston Fire Department to safely locate the structure during the design phase.
